Dinner- simple & delicious

My son is home from college for a few days; we have not seen him since Thanksgiving. I marinated a London broil overnight in soy sauce, worcestershire, garlic powder and fresh ground pepper. Grilled it rare, let it rest. Grilled 8 ears of corn, and some sliced zucchini and eggplant tossed with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper. Simple and really satisfying, a great summertime meal. Dessert was Duncan Hines brownies and vanilla ice cream.

Sounds mighty nice. I'm sure he enjoyed it. And, I'm sure he appreciated you doing it for him.

Ah, sounds like a wonderful meal. AND, I am sure you really enjoyed having your son home for a visit. What could be more perfect than having a loved one home, and a great meal to share. Heaven!!!!! Enjoy your young man. Time passes too fast.
