Grease Burgers Across the street from where I went to high school was a lunch joint, long demolished. The ground beef they used must have had a fat content of 35%. We never called the place by its D/B/A name. Everyone called it the "Grease Joint".

Lamb burgers are a favorite of mine and I have been eating them lately. Sloppy Joes fit into the burger category, they are ground beef on a bun. If we are talking ground meat on a bun, there are sausage patties that fit the bill. Top with peppers, onions and cheese. Looking at the forum's recipe section is a Dakota burger which is sliced pot roast. This does bring up the question if a BBQ brisket sandwich is no different from a Dakota burger? mark

Venison burgers are pretty tasty. Although the ones I've had/made are mixed with sausage for the fat content. So technically I guess they'd be called Deer-pig burgers.

Pork burgers! grill'em, slather with barbecue sauce, serve on a bun with pickles and sliced or chopped onion.

Tried the "5 Guys" burger in Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago - $10 for a decent (cooked to order) burger, POTENTIALLY perfect fries and a soda...... It was, on the whole, underwhelming

All of this burger talk got me inspired last night. We had lamb burgers with Indian spices and a mango chutney dijon aioli. On homemade buns. We had hydroponic Amish tomatoes on the side and oven fries. It was very good. We forgot to take pictures
