Chicken Unlimited

Chicken Unlimited was a fried chicken chain that was present in the suburbs of Chicago when I was growing up. They were quite different than most other chicken chains, with a unique crust, and I remember enjoying their food very much. Does anyone else remember or have any thoughts on this? I think they were mostly gone by the mid 1980's.
