2. YES! Just this past year I was enjoying a piece of Salt Water taffy and lost a filling which ultimately had to be replaced with a crown. I hate going to the dentist, in fact it terrifies me!
3. Of course not, it's called Salt Water taffy cuz it originally started being made on the boardwalk (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it)

3. Might be urban legend, but I remember hearing a story about a candy shop on a boardwalk (Atlantic City?) being flooded with saltwater and the owner, trying to recover some of his losses, marketing the now dried, salt-water-drenched taffy as a specialty, "salt water taffy."
