Barbeque in New York City Area: Pearson still King

Again this week a new barbeque place was featured in the press: The New York Times reviewed Bigt W's in Pawling, NY: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/08/13/dining/13BARB.html I drove up there today and waited on line for a large rack of pork ribs that were smoky but not all that tender. Pearson's in Jackson Heights (Queens) is currently my favorite place in this category, until I again get to visit my relatives in Austin, TX.
