Powell's sweet shoppe

It looks like a chain, but it has an amazing array
of old hard-to-find candies including fizzies,
those wierd halloween candies you always got, and

It's a rather new franchise, started by a guy actually named Powell.

I visited the original store in Windsor, CA last summer and found it quite fun. They had a huge selection not only of classic, retro and weird items but also some nice imported candies and high-end chocolate bars. Prices are a little higher than you can expect at grocers, but it's certainly nice to find everything in one place.
