Can you recommend a good place for lunch in Salem VA area. My wife and I will be traveling North up I-81 and will exit on US 220 toward Fincastle. We will have three other couples with us. Any help appreciated. We particularly would enjoy anything with a historic flavor.

The Log House in Wytheville is as historic as it gets. Parts of the building are from the 18th century. Serves country ham, peanut soup, etc., as well as other colonial and old-Virginia type foods.
