Penny's Noodles rumor

Hi Chicago noodle shop fans:

I've heard a rumor that Penny's is planning to open a new restaurant in Northfield. This would be the first north suburban store for this venerable Chicago institution. Has anyone else heard this rumor, and if so, have any information about when it might open? We're in Highland Park, about 10 minutes from Northfield. Sure beats the 45-minute drive into Lincoln Park for a Penny's fix.

Well, I guess no one knows on this site. One of the Chicago-area food sites did have a mention - apparently it opened last month. We'll try it sometime and report back.
