Vegas Baby, Vegas! I've dined there before and they make a decent burger, but nothing special. I'm guessing that 99.9% of the people that eat there just get a regular burger and a beer. The idea of a Kobe Beef burger, or a Surf and Turf burger is all for show. If eating there makes you feel like you're having something special then more power to you. If you want to go to a "upscale" burger joint in Vegas, then I would also recommend Le Burger Brasserie in Paris/Bally's. It's the exact same concept, but the girls wear white leather knee-high boots and hotpants. Like there's not enough eye candy in Vegas. http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/paris-las-vegas/restaurants-dining/plv-le-burger-brasserie-detail.html

While we are on the subject... The restaurant’s signature dish is the $777 Kobe Beef and Maine Lobster Burger, topped with caramelized onions, imported Brie, crispy prosciutto and 100-year aged balsamic vinegar and served with a bottle of Rose Dom Perignon champagne. Is this actually something that anyone would want to eat?

Best burgers in LV, although out of the way, is at Reilly's Bar on Buffalo Rd. west of the main attractions near Summerlin. They won best of LV for burgers several years. Also In and Out and Fatburger are good and not in the casinos.

One of many bar-taverns that serve pretty good burgers in my area. Frequent winner in the Review Journal annual best of awards. They recently opened a second location in the SW part of the valley on S Grand Canyon Drive. Back to Burger Bar in Mandalay Place. The place is top notch. Owned by Hubert Keller, the same chef that runs Fleur De Lys inside Mandalay Bay. Then like Flippy said, Le Burger inside Paris took it up a notch by adding a little flesh to the scenery.

I have no idea if this place is still around, but last summer my wife and I ate at a pretty good burger place in the mall next to what was then the Aladdin. It had a Hawaiian theme and the burgers were really good. I don't remember the name, and it could be an overpriced touristy place in the eyes of locals but I thought the burger was pretty damn good. DPuro329 I have a feeling you went to Zingers Best Burgers in the Hawaiian Marketplace. I went there around a year ago and also thought it was pretty good. But I just looked in my local Embarq phone book. No listing. Might be gone. Charles Las Vegas, NV

I think In n Out Burger has a few locations in Vegas, one of the few non-California locales for this chain.

Bluntfacts, I was able to remember the name of the place. It's called Cheeseburger Las Vegas. It's listed on the website of the mall it was in. www.miraclemileshopslv.com but the restaurant website doesn't seem to be working. Maybe it's not there anymore but the burger was very good, and they also had their own beer on tap. DPuro329

Hey ya'll from the big dry ditch here in Las Vegas. I have been a longtime lurker and decided to finally jump into the RF forum. My experience at most of the burger joints located in and around the strip, is that the burgers are overpriced foo foo. Kilroy's located on the corner of Charleston and Buffalo on the westside of town is a better choice. For regional chains, In N Out is very popular as is Carl's Jr. Those 2 joints probably do more biz than the Wendy's and McDee's combined I would think. My current fav is 3 Angry Wives Pub. They have a choice of sliders that are killer, in fact everything my gal and I have tried there has been as Mr. Burns would say.."excellent." Thanks in advance ya'll for having me here! Cheers.

DPuro329 I am pleased to report the place you visited is still there, in the Miracle Mile Shops (formerly known as the Desert Passage Mall) attached to what is now the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino. I looked in my phone book and they call themselves Cheeseburger At The Oasis.

Cheers. 3AWP is a great place, and they frequently send out a 25% coupon. All you gotta do is get on their mailing list. And if you like that burger, I can suggest you try the Outside Inn burger. It's just a little bit down the street at 9941 W Charleston.

Welcome TexasBlues, hope you enjoy this site. The sliders you mentioned sound great. I love a good juicy burger better than anything. Hard to find around here (Huntsville, AL). Have visited LasVegas a few times and it rocks.
