m&m's with almonds Thu, 08/2/07 1:36 AM (permalink)
the way I remember it in the 50's they use to sell plain m&m's and m&m's with almonds. Then due to a increase of almond prices, they changed to peanuts. Does anyone remember that or am I wrong? yes, I know they have them now but I swear they didn't for a long time.

I remember seeing them at least ten years ago, but it has been a while since I've seen the M&M's in the beige package.

They definitely make Almond M&Ms now (I don't know about the 50s).

They're in a light beige package. I don't see them everywhere M&Ms are sold (not in vending machines or grocery checkouts), but very often at drug stores and convenience stores.

They're my favorite M&Ms. The almonds aren't great quality, but certainly a nice change from all those other peanut candies that America is so famous for.

Found them often in CA, can't find them at all in TX. Almonds and chocolate, two of my favorite foods.

CVS definitely sells Almond M&M's. I've worked for CVS for 5 years. Almond M&M's and Peanut Butter M&Ms are what we buy to group snack on when it's too busy for us to take breaks
