looking for a cookie that my grandma used to make called Forgotten Cookies. she would make them every Christmas and i remember that she would send a plate of them home with my parents but they would never make it cuz i'd eat them all. as far as the recipe goes all i can remember is that they contained meringue, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and walnuts and were baked in a preheated then turned off oven overnight. they were a very light melt in your mouth drop cookie. if anyone can help me find the recipe it would be greatly appreciated

I just found the recipe for you. About 4 million of them! I just did a yahoo web search for "forgotten cookies", and over 4 million items came up. Lots of recipes, at least one of them is even from "grandma's own recipe". Those cookies do sound delicious. Good luck!
