I've been going to the farmers market every sat since the creole tomatoes have been in to pick up a basket full.

Blue Plate Real Mayonnaise (since I can't buy BAMA mayo here) Both sides please, salt and pepper. If you love me you will then cut it in 4ths into little triangles. I also like to add extra pepper to my plate to dip the crust of the bread in when that's all that's left. I make sure to get all the juice too. At least that more dignified than licking my plate lol

I love tomatoe sandwiches, but only from my garden...Wonder bread, Hellmans(both sides of bread), salt, pepper, and sometimes a nice slice of cheese. We have 20 different varities of tomatoe plants in our garden in northern Illinois...after there gone, no more tomatoe sandwiches until next years crop.

Fresh White bread, Hellmann's, large amount of ground pepper, tomatoe slices and 1 thinly sliced clove of garlic----wonderful!

Sounds good, though since when has dignity played a part in eatin' 'maters? But that's okay: I love you even if you are a neat freak.

And I didn't know Bama made mayo! Years ago I was in San Francisco (used to live nearby) showing my then-newish wife around. We stopped at the Ghirardelli shop and to our great amusement found Bama preserves in the "Exotic Foods" or some such area!

Tomato sandwiches with a glass of iced tea are a summer must here in the South: a large, ripe slice of tomato with a thin layer of JFG Mayonnaise on Wonder Bread. I also dust the tomato with RealSalt Gourmet All Natural Sea Salt. Mercy, it's good!

JFG mayo is a wonderful Southern brand made in Knoxville. Sadly, I haven't used Hellmann's since they started diluting it with water several years ago.
