I'm hoping someone can recommend a good Italian place in New Jersey that makes its own pasta for simple dishes like spaghetti and meatballs. We're near Plainfield but all suggestions are appreciated

Hi, Boy do I have a place for you. In Toms River,NJ on Fischer blvd is a place called "Rivoli's". They serve their pasta to you in a giant Pasta bowl...enough for three people!!! There dishes are SUPERB...different and Classic. People travel great distances to try this and NO restuarant will serve you these amounts. Worth any trip leethebard

But is the pasta made in the restaurant from scratch or is it commercial? For a restaurant to make truly house-made pasta and serve it in trough-size portions would be really surprising. Huge portions are a turnoff for me.
