End of an era:Goodbye Jersey Freeze

Hey New Jersey Ice Cream lovers,
A NJ icon is being torn down,I hear. Jersey Freeze on Rt 9 in Freehold is making way for an Olive Garden. It's been there almost 60 years! Is nothing sacred?

Not in our present day 3rd world ways of preservation and landscaping.
If that's the case, they would have preesrved the Stroh's Beer Factory and all of those Hotels here in Detroit.

oh no! are you serious? when?
I was by there last weekend. We didn't go in (was with my mother in law and it was rainy) however I have loved their nonfat yogurt.
that is a real shame...
