new jersey mikes sandwich shop

so here in washington state over the year or so wwe have had some of these sub shop open.are they from the east coast.it seems to me,im a [nyc,long island ],washington transplant.but when i was back home you got a big sandwich,with alot of meat and it was sliced thuick.now everybody wants to use thin slice meats.over here for a meatball sandwich,they cut the bread in half long ways and then put meatballs on the bread,fold it back and then squise it down.what ever happened to cuttin of the end and pour in the good stuff.sheeeeees
