Help! A friend wants to meet at Famous Daves in VA

Woodbridge, Virginia, that is. I went to another Dave's once and thought it was terrible. Can anyone recommend excellent Northern Virginia BBQ within, say, 20 miles of Woodbridge? I'd stretch and go to the Mighty Midget in Leesburg, but they aren't open late...I couldn't stand eating bad BBQ knowing that someone, somewhere, knows where the real deal is.

too funny! actually , I thought their brisket was surprisingly decent. ( for a chain) and they had some good tasting cocktail concoctions.. I had the roast chicken there once, but it was real bland... wish they had beef ribs, though..

Hey, Famous Dave's ain't too bad.....Go and dip french fries in all six rib sauce selections. Try the "Devil's Spit"...or put that on anything they serve!
