quote:Originally posted by ddog27 You guys should also check out the website http://www.azbarbeque.com Lots of good AZ BBQ people there as well!! Hey Darin, I spend just about as much time there these days as I do here! BTW, I ordered your rubs the other day cuz everyone over on Mike's site has only good things to say about them. I know you are too modest to plug your own site, so I will : If anyone else is looking for some good rubs to use on their Que, they can be purchased online at http://ddogsbbq.com And I hope to see you participate a little more on this site, ddog. Good to have another Arizona Hound on the Roadfood Forums. DD

For Road-Foodies, I recommend Honey Bear's BBQ on Van Buren St near 48th St in East Phoenix. There are several satellite locations but the BBQ is cooked here. The atmosphere could be described as "quaint," but the food is good. Joe's Real BBQ on Gilbert Ave in Gilbert AZ, East Valley for those familiar with the Phoenix area, can also be recommended. Good food (cooked on-site) and quick service.
