A good Roadfood book read! Fri, 09/5/03 2:25 PM (permalink)
I have been reading TRUCK STOP COOKBOOK......good eats from the road and it is a fun book for finding about some great truck stops! There are lots of recipes, too. Some sound downright horrid but there are a few that I intend to try. If you want some quantity recipes how about "World Famous Detroiter Truck Stops World Famous Meatloaf" There is a recipe called "Lulu's Million dollar Cake".and it is identical to what I call "Black Magic Cake". There is a "Salad in the Pink" that I know just know that the Sterns would love. So if any of you want any truck stop recipes, feel free to let me know. In the meantime, I will enjoy reading a really interesting book.
