Dubois, WY restaurant Sun, 09/7/03 4:33 PM (permalink)
Dubois is about an hour away from Jackson. There's not much to the town, but the owners of the Twin Pines Lodge recommended dinner at the Cafe Wyoming. The owner is a former California chef who smokes his own ribs, brisket, and pork chops and bakes his own bread. We sat outside on a very nice deck overlooking the Wind River. The salad had local organic greens and tomatoes, and the breads were great. We had ribs and the pork chop. Both portions were so big that we couldn't finish them. We were too full for dessert so they gave us homemade pecan chocolate chip cookies to take with us. The wine list is small but reasonably priced. All the people who waited on us were very friendly.
