does any one know what a panzarotti is how to make them

    Never heard of it until seconds ago.. A quick search reveals it's something like a deep fried calzone:

      It's an Irishmans dream, breaded deep fried mashed potatos with mozzarella in the middle of it.
      There is a spot in the North End of Boston that sells a ton of them, Galleria Rustucia Umberto $1.50 each. Get there early when they sell out they close for the day, usually by 3pm. Great pizza by the slice also.

        Maybe so, but in South Jersey it's much more than that. Sort of a deep fried calzone, with some sort of bright orange chesse melted inside. Either alone or stuffed with the usual pizza choices. It's really like an inside out pizza, and the version with pepperoni sold at Tarantini's Panzarotti (supposedly the originator of panzarotti) at 349 Marlton Ave Camden NJ (take out only, order thru the bullet proof glass) is perhaps the single greasiest dish I have ever had (that's a compliment!).

          I've had them on a few occasions. On each instance, it was during lunch, and I was not hungry again the entire day. I think one packs enough calories for an entire day.
          When it comes to defining roadfood as uniquely regional, I'd say the panzarotti is one such food. You really can't find it much further than Camden County NJ. Even try locating one in Philadelphia would be tough. On a 'micro' level, it's probably the equivalent of a steamed cheeseburger in Central Connecticut, but even more so. It's confined to Camden NJ and a few towns east, such as Westmont, Merchantville and Haddonfield.
