Egg Nog and Liquor

For my upcoming holiday party, I am going to put out "shots" of eggnog with a bit of liquor in them and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. But, I am still debating over which liquor is best in eggnog -- whisky, rum or bourbon?? Anyone have a preference? What about other fun holiday drinks....
