cough drop from the 70's

growing up in new york a teacher use to give me these great cough drops i think they were called something like cosalana or cosalanta they were not the chewy ones and not a lemon or honey flavor in a blue box maybe? anyone remember these they were good but i cant find any info anywhere on them maybe its my spelling of them.

As a cough drop-addicted kid of the '70s (cough drops seemed so much cooler than regular candy), I don't remember the brand you're asking about. I do remember Luden's, Pine Bros (chewy ones), Hall's, Hack's, Hold, Sucrets, Vicks. I think Hall's and Vick's are the only ones they still make.

thanks for replying its none of those i can actually still find ludens and smith bros i just got a big bag of the licorice smith bros they are not as good as they were when i was a kid.
