PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..... can anyone find me a GOOD crab cake in CT!!!
The closest I can think of is The Oceanaire's location in Boston. http://www.theoceanaire.com/Home.aspx I have ordered and enjoyed chabcakes at their DC, Dallas, and LA locations and they have been uniformly excellent - better than Faidley's.

I stopped at a restaurant, Timbuktu...I really did think they (crabcakes) were outstanding, better than G & M that I had visited twice and thought this place should be mentioned here.

Thanks for the tip; Hanover is closer to our place in McLean than Linthicum. We'll give them a try next trip "back home".
