there is a diner not far from Hart's turkey farm that is pretty good. Sorry, can't remember what its called. Guess its in Meredith

I had an excellent breakfast at George's Diner in Meredith. Could that be the place you are thinking of? My girlfriend at the time ate two orders of the red-flannel hash all by herself! The place can get very crowded, though.

http://www.georgesdiner.com/ Here we can see a menu! I love to look at menus! I wish the prices were listed. From all the menus I've seen on the internet so far I'd have to choose Wisconsin as the state I'd like to visit most. Great food and incredible prices in a beautiful state.
