Middleton's Tavern

in Annapolis, Md. has become one of my favorite places to visit. Annapolis is about 125 miles from home but I get to within about 20 miles rather often for work.

Anyways, they are located in downtown Annapolis which got hit pretty hard by hurricane Isabel Thursday. A couple pictures I've seen of downtown show the intersection/area where Middleton's is and it is awash in water from the storm surge.

I'm hoping that they weren't damaged too bad, I'm really looking forward to getting back there for a dz or 2 of fresh raw oysters, some steamed mussels and a beer or 2.

I hope no else here got slammed by Isabel, I was lucky. We had 3 or 4 downed branches and a lot of leaves and that was all.
