Brand new Steak-Um burgers...

I just saw the add on TV here in north Texas, a burger pattie made by Steak-Um. Anyone else seen this?
Hey, I make some good Chinese beef and broccoli w/ regular Steak-Um, sooo?

Haven't seen them...but how good can they be....Steakums are an acquired taste as is!!!

How good can they be? I am skeptical as well. It sure looks like they are going to spent allot of bucks promoting them though. I didn't know about the Nascar thing.

I just noticed the little Nascar running acros the bottom of the TY ad, DA. I'm gona buy a box when I can find them.

Steak ums are great- I am from Philly and have cravings for these. I make my poor wife eat them.-steak um/cheese and ragu sauce-ghetto and good.

Soooo, U gona try the new burgers Mikez?
Allota folks here don't like Steak Ums, me not included. You can make all kinds of things with em. There is a Steak Um thread here somewhere w/ a few recipes.

I had to go look: http://www.steakumm.com/Burgers1.htm Basicly looks like 1/3-lb frozen burgers, with options of plain, cheese-stuffed or onions. Lots of competition out there - I guess they think that brand name recognition will get them some market share from Bubba's.
