Has anyone been to Cheeburger Cheeburger? It is a great place, especially for the kids! Not the best burger in the world, but pretty good, different sizes, a million toppings, and great fries/rings and shakes.

I tend not to go to places where more than one person has said "it's not the best burger." Let's face it, that does not mean it was great but not the best. That means it was nothing worth going back for. Cheeburger is such aplace. Never heard a solidly good report.

while i would agree that local places and pubs are the best spots for burgers, i would hardly rule a place out because they don't have "the best burger"...maybe i phrased it wrong, but everything is relative....when with the kids and desiring a certain "taste", a place like cheeburger - or even Applebees - can do the trick. It's certainly not the Corner Bistro in NYC, but if I limited myself that much, I would hardly ever have a good burger!

I am a fan of Cheeburger Cheeburger. We have two here in Huntsville. I think their frings (onion rings and fries) are great. The onion rigns are think and crispy and the fries are really good. Yes, the burger is OK but certainly not a bad burger. You can order any toppings you want from barbeque sauce to hot peppers. And yes, the grandkids love it so why not take them some place that is a lot better than McDonalds and where I can enjoy the food too.

Doug: the header text for the Fast Food Franchises & Non-Roadfood Chains area reads at the moment as follows: While NOT Roadfood, they are an unfortunate reality in the food industry. Post your fast food topics here so the rest of the forums can maintain it's purity. Since you have not been a member long, it is IMHO understandable that you had not yet read this
