Do you mean Salumi, meaning Italian meat products which are usually cured and predominantly made from pork? If so, it's spelled correctly Leethebard. Salami is one of many many types of Salumi.

Indeed, I live near two artisan Salumi and sausage makers, and I'm constantly tempted by that delicious porky goodness....

Help me out sausage peoples. I had an aunt who used to go up to Wisconsin a lot and come back with a summer sausage type log. Only the meat was not held together liek a summer sausage - softer. I'd like to say it was Hungarian and was red enough from paprika, but for the life of me I can ask for it as I have no name and I have not seen anything that looks like it.

Salumi's limited hours and vacations made it impossible for me to got there on my trip to Seattle last Summer. I was miffed. But, it's just one of several reasons I want to go back.

I can think of about 15,000 reasons to want to go back to Seattle, and those come long before I'd get to Salumi being a reason -- and Salumi is an important one.
