I just had lunch at Tamarind, a good (East) Indian restaurant in NYC. The appetzer featured salmon, which I never considered an Indian food (salmon in the Indian Ocean?).But it was wonderful. There were a few pieces of grilled salmon with Indian spices and two small sauces, one of coriander/cilantro and the other of spicy chili. Very nice.
Has anyone else had salmon in an Indian restaurant?
