The beer is as cold as I can get it. Although corned beef is not Irish is will do just fine today. Hrtr's God Bless Us, and may ya' be in Heaven an hiur before the devil knows your gone. Slantsha !!!!!!

Annie , your a girl after me own heart !!! Well I have enough c-b cooking to have a great big corned beef on rye with cole slaw and a half-sour pickle tomorrow. And corned beef hash and eggs on Tuesday. And----The soda bread will be as hot as the beer is cold with "REAL" butter, Bigorra. Then I can sit back and forget about corned beef until next year. Unless, of course, I happen to be in the "Big City" around a good Jewish Deli.

"this Ireland of ours has for long been half free; Six counties still under John Bull's tyranny". Don't forget that when you're hoisting your pint. Top (who also has the corned beef and Guinness ready, with a little Bushmills as well. Slainte mhath, slainte mhor!)

Top---thanks for the correct spelling of slainte. Could not find it without getting off the site and looking under the bed or someplace. Top, me boy, I think that Ireland will forever be split but thank God the blood letting has stopped for now. Ann----------ignore your German side for the day, or the week or whatever---it can only give you "wurst" trouble than you can imagine. Actually I was half-way adopted by a German family after my father died, they aren't so bad. Actually that family was damn good. Love German food.
