Bacon Ice Cream

Oh yes, bacon ice cream.
I just finished some. There's a small "upscale" take out place called Spoon in NY that makes their own ice cream (flavors like Lavendar Mint) and today that had bacon.
It was totally WEIRD. The ice cream was a caramel color and flavor with pieces of bacon in it!! A little salty and sweet. I guess it tasted OK but, gotta admit, it was strange to have little pieces of bacon hanging around my mouth after I finished a scoop. (Price: $4.00 - but it was a good sized cup...)
