I only drink decaf or lite. My first cup delicious, 2nd good, that's all I can drink, a 3rd cup would taste crummy, years ago I would drink it all day long...what's your limit?

How big is the cup ? Does it come with an IV attachment ? My limit is the size oy my suitcase that i'm bringing back to China after my annual short trip home to the states.

I typically drink two cups of freshly ground coffee bean home brew first thing in the morning and nothing thereafter. My cup is the classic diner mug.

Depends on the day - but its always ground and brewed to order via my burr-style grinder and french press. The beans are roasted locally 2 blocks from my home.

Perhaps 2 cups on a regular day = an extra on those days I'm struggling...

I loath bad coffee. I seldom order coffee with breakfast at family diners because, in my experience, it is uniformly baaaad! My observation: nothing more than colored water. I cannot understand why anyone would drink weak coffee.

Can't stand the "bite" of strong coffee? Drink a nice tea.

I'm in the coffee club at work, but only drink two or three cups a week because I'm not allowed to make it.

IMO, Coffee is like wine. If you can't taste the atmospheric, geographic, fruit, and pharmacology of the bean, it's money wasted.

I used to drink 'pots' of coffee everyday till in the past several years. I think I was a coffee junkie to be honest, when I started taking Prozac several years the pots of coffee went down to 1 cup or 2 a day.I didn't even realize that my coffee drinking had changed,my Son remarked about it one day and it was true hahaha
I stopped taking the Prozac bout a year ago and the old coffee habit didn't return but I do LOVE the first sip of a really good coffee

Not sure, I continuously refill my mug at work. Probably 3-4 cups over the course of a day? It has to be hot, though, so I downsized from a 16-oz mug to an 8-oz mug. Less waste, but it gets refilled a lot more often. Then maybe coffee on the commute home, and more in the evenings after's usually decaf or 1/2 caff after about 5 or 6 pm, though. My husband has recently gone from a coffee hater to a near-afficianado, so we've been having fun trying different beans and brands. Right now, we both really like Community Coffee with chicory, and the Archer Farms organic single-source beans. Gotta get another refil now.

Sometimes that "bite" is really just simply "bitter." I like strong coffee, but more bitter doesn't equate to better, infact, too much bite, and any complexity the coffee might have had, is wasted on beeing too potent. Balance is good. I like to think of having a robust cup of coffee, ratrher than a strong cup of of coffee. It's kind of the same thing, but robust brings in images of boldness of flavor, whereas strong brings in images of bitter caffeine.

But, I like the wine image, mostly because, when one opens a bottle of wine, one should finish it, likewise, when I brew a pot of coffee, I drink it all.

Well it's 6:45am and I've already had 6 cups. Maybe one more then done for the day unless I go to the diner at 9. Chow Jim

Two to three 16 oz's a day. Of course, it took me 48 years to learn to like coffe, so I'm sure I do it all wrong. I don't have a palate for what's good or bad, and I don't drink it properly, I gulp it down. I use Nestle sugar-free creamer, usually Hazelnut. I like it black with something sweet, like cake or pie.

0, it kills my appetite. Now if I wanted to lose weight I could probably throw a number out there.

                              I don't think I have had a cup of coffee in 10 - 15 years.

buffetbuster, Really? Wow! I cannot eat a breakfast without coffee. I always thought a good slice of pie was always coupled with a good brew.

For breakfast, I am a juice guy. Depending on the type of pie, it is usually milk. Just never developed a taste for coffee.

I watching something on the news this morning about Starbucks introducing a new coffee when it occurred to me I have never been to a Starbucks in my life. Probably not too many Americans can say that!

I brew 32 ounces every morning and enjoy it in a real restaurant mug. Collect them. IHOP, Denny's, Waffle House, White Castle, Dunkin' Donuts, etc. Especially love those classic diner mugs.

In the morning, half a pot (3-4 cups?). Usually Eight O'clock Coffee, lately, french vanilla. With milk.

Having said that, I do love a sandwich at lunch with one cup of strong black coffee. Something about this meal says mid 20th century to me.

Not only is Starbuck's introducing a new coffee today, they are giving it out free. I didn't bother to check it out. I was too busy playing with my new wood chipper/shredder today out in my woods.
