Deli Sandwiches,,,,,,,,,,,Why?

Ok, I admit that I have never been to one of the big, well know deli's, but I have to ask a question anyways. What do people do with these sandwiches? Do they take them home and feed their family of five with them? I mean, how much meat can one person actually eat? There's just no sense and putting that much meat on two puny slices of bread. I just cant understand it. Has anybody really finished one of these in one sitting?
