Ohio

The posts from our east coast breteren are killing me. All that lovely shellfish. Ohio has nothing at least in the SW/Dayton area. We used to have the Shuckin' shack but they losed.
You might find cooked blue or dungeness at Meijers and Dorthy lane but no dining places. A bucket of steamers or a crab fest complete with mallets and newspaper. Im sure they could do a heck of a biz.
We have shrimp, scallops(rare), and finny fish but the other stuff is not to be found. I know we have a ton of Dayton denizens here. How many would go to a clam or crab shack?
Even when I was cooking in Denver we had some great places. Tats 3 times as far from the coast.
Driving along the bay to a lobster pound overlooking the water would be a treat. Enjoy your gifts folks.
