Peanut Butter & Co. now available...

Syracuse, NY 13212. Phone # (315) 454-9223. I was up there this weekend with the family and my sister and I stopped at the Christmas Tree Shop. They have PB & Co. jars for $2.99!! I picked up The Heat Is On (spicy), The Bee's Knees (with honey) and Mighty Maple. I had already gotten 4 other flavors at Wegmans for $3.99 a jar. Now I know. They usually retail in NYC for $5.00 for the smooth/crunchy and $6.00 for the specialty flavors. Their website is www.christmastreeshops.com. They have locations in CT, DE, ME, NH, MA, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VT. Just wanted to let you know.

Also of interest, Hofmann's hot dogs has a hot dog stand called Hofmann Hot Haus in the same plaza as the Christmas Tree Shop. It's at 401 Nothern Lights Plaza and the website is www.hofmannhothaus.com. Hofmann's are a Central NY classic and they are the makers of some really tasty coneys and franks. I took some pictures this weekend that I'll post later. Some of the menus items include white coneys, Texas Hots (with their own chile sauce), german potato salad and Harrison Bakery cookies for dessert. Harrison Bakery is a Syracuse favorite and they are at 1306 W. Genesse Street Syracuse, NY 13204. Phone # (315) 422-1468. No website available. I've never been there, but have heard many good things about it from my family and friends up there.

Great idea..a fastfood peanutbutter and jelly stand...exotic peanut butters and great homemade jellies and jams of all kinds...all to mix and match on many different kinds of homemade breads. Drink it down with the freshest milk...Now if you can keep the price reasonable...that could work....custom made goumet peanutbutter and jelly in hundreds of combinations!!!!

I loved the peanut butter I brought back from PB & Co. when I ate there. I have since had more sent to me a couple of times. Sure do wish they were available on grocery shelves here in Pittsburgh!

Sneetch, that flavor makes the best Pad Thai at home. It's very hot and is best used for cooking, we've found. It's not good on crackers or with celery, unless you enjoy coughing fits! Chris

I buy their White Chocolate Wonderful peanut butter at Hannaford for about $3.59 per jar and, I can say as a non peanut butter lover, this is peanut butter I can eat off a spoon! So good!

I found some Peanut Butter & Company peanut butter at my local Giant grocery store! They priced it around $4 something for the jar, but I went ahead and splurged, getting the dark chocolate and PB mix. OMG, that stuff is sinfully delicious!!! I've been thinking of making a sandwich on pumpernickel, with red raspberry jam.... my mouth is watering thinking about it! [:P]
