Olpe Chicken House celebrates 50 years

I know that several Roadfooders have been to the Olpe (KS) Chicken House. I thought you might enjoy today's story in the Emporia Gazette; the Chicken House is celebrating 50 years of ownership in the Coble family. Thanks for posting the newspaper article.....I missed this the first time around. I was just there a few months ago and it is a classic small town restaurant where the locals truly eat. The skin of the chicken was incredibly brittle and delicous. Great onion rings, too. Too bad I passed on the homemade pie.
Congratulations to the Chicken House!
