School Boy sandwich Tue, 05/20/08 7:49 PM (permalink)
When I was in elementary school in Kansas City MO, the cooks made a sandwich called the School Boy. It was not a Sloppy Joe. It did not have a chili spice flavoring. It was loose hamburger with probably a little bread to hold the meat together, but it had this wonderful spice in it. It was a little greasy, but ooooohhhhh soooooo delicious. Was anyone a cook in the Hickman Mills School District in 1968 at Dobbs Elementary. I'd love to have that recipe. I've looked for years for it and have never foun anything like the School Boy.
