However, Friendly's Restaurants are adding a little cheer and hoping to ensure that the only thing "blue" this summer is the sky. Locations across the chain are sharing their love of ice cream and officially kicking off summer by offering a free ice cream cone or dish of any flavor.
WHO: Friendly's, as the neighborhood, family restaurant, offer a great kids menu, signature sandwiches, delicious entrees and indulgent ice cream desserts in a fun, family environment. The company also manufactures all its own ice cream, which is distributed through more than 4,000 supermarkets and other retail locations.

WHEN: The sweet deal will take place at all Friendly's restaurants on Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
