Tempura/beer batter???

I had posted this on a log entry and cant find it.
Has anyone ever made a batter fried salmon? my wife brought it up an I thought it sounded terrible. I would think that the meat would be so rich and heavy that it would overpower itself.
Anyone tried this while playing midnite chef?
