Unsung hero in the Texas BBQ belt

Those in the know can feel their mouth water when thinking of Lockhart and the Big 3 - Smitty's, Black's and Kreuz Market. All different, but all great BBQ. I'd like to offer another option. When you get to town, keep driving through town to the south end, and stop at Chisholm Trail BBQ. It's been there a long time as well, and is the unsung hero of Lockhart BBQ. I'm not saying it's better than the Big 3, but it is their equal. Treat yourself to something new, give it a shot. OBTW, the beans are to die for!
