DJ's in Tipp City, OH Thu, 08/28/08 9:04 AM (permalink)
Over the weekend I was in Tipp City, Ohio, with some friends and we got a thin crust (meal-dusted) pepperoni pizza from DJ's Pizza Alley in the historic downtown section:

There's no inside dining area but there were a few tables out in front, and we sat on the curb to eat.

DJ's uses the common lift-door pizza oven but AFAIK it's not wood-fired. I've had their pizza on several occasions and it's always been nicely done; the dark crispy edge and slightly curled pepperoni (not everyone likes this but I do if it's not overcooked) can be seen in the photo. The sauce isn't overpowering and not overly sweet, and there's not too much of it. I'm not sure why but the pieces are cut small enough to be eaten in almost 1 bite, which actually didn't work out too bad.
