Has anyone tried Vito's Tony Packo's pizza?

Those or you in the Toledo Ohio are familiar with Tony Packo's Well Vito's in the same area is offering Tony Packo Pizza. http://www.vitos.com/menu.htm My brother tried it and says it is great. So good that he ate 7 pieces. *Tony Packo Pizza – made with Tony Packo's Hot Dog Sauce, sliced Tony Packo's Hungarian Sausage, cheddar & mozzarella cheeses, onions, and topped with mustard. Served with your choice of Tony Packo's Original Pickles and Peppers or Sweet Hots. Could someone in the area stop by and order one of these and give it a try and post some photos. And if we are really lucky maybe someone could find the recipe. It sounds like this could really be something. ...Russ

Mustard on a pizza? Really? I don't think I've ever encountered that. And what is hot dog sauce?!?

Hot Dog sauce is thier beef based hot dog chili they use on thier hot dogs at teh resturant. Also availble in cans. Very rich and very high in fat. A little goes a long way. I'm still less than thrilled by the mustard idea too. jjjrfoodie EDIT: Russ, the Packo's hot dog sauce, cryo packed Hung. sausage and pickles are all available at the Party Source over in Newport, KY. Everything else but the pizza crust is off the shelf. This sounds so simple to recreate it hurts.

Sounds like a hot dog with cheese on some flatbread rather than a bun. I'd try it.

The closest Anderson's stores to the Dayton area are the two in Columbus and the one in Lima.

I'd try it if it was given to me but I'm unwilling to pay for it. My impression of Vito's (having never actually eaten there) is that their food isn't that great

Personally I'd try just about anything on a pizza, I like to put all sorts of things on mine.. i.e. my cheeseburger pizza, instead of pizza sauce I use a combo of mustard and ketchup, along with ground beef, onions, pickles, and american cheese..it tastes just like a cheeseburger! The Packo's pizza sounds pretty good to me.

No offense Ohio, but Tony Packo's is the only thing I want to see in your state.
