Cola Champagne

So I was chatting with my Hispanic doorman today and he had a can of "Good-O" (brand) Cola Champagne open. I have seen Cola "Champagne" around in a few stores in NYC and thought it was just some off-brand kind of Coke, with the "champagne" throw in to glamour it up. He says, oh no, it is a "real Puerto Rican" thing, with molasses. Apparently orange flavor, not "coca", and cane-sugar-y. I didn't want a sip but I google it and found out that, yes, there are many varieties and brands. They include Goya and Tropi-Cola Interesting write-up: http://www.sogoodblog.com/2008/09/03/i-try-it-so-you-dont-have-to-goya-cola-champagne/ Has anyone tried it?

Cola Champagne is great if you can find it. It is very sweet, but very good. I haven't had it in a long time, but I remember it being similar to a cream soda. Pick some up to try it when you see it. You won't be disappointed.
