Cajun King (Don)- Thanks for your major addition to this chapter !! Nice job! Funny how none of us, so far, have a photo of Curbside Grill in it. Maybe TTM got one??? Not many folks know that Poverty Pete Totaled his car just the Thursday evening before the trip. He was T-Boned by (of all things) a Good Humor Truck! So on Saturday he rode with us, bruised and quite sore. Luckily he seems to be improving after several Days have passed. PP deserves an "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty" Medal for his follow-up on this adventure.

PP deserves an "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty" Medal for his follow-up on this adventure. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I think PP just bought the Sundancers immaculate truck with XM radio, upgraded wheels, dark windows, bed liner, great floor mats, auto lock, never been in the rain and garaged. It is perfect and PP is a hell of a negotiator and beat me down something awful. Anyway he will now have wheels beside his Harley . Good thing he wasn't on it during his accident. He is coming to Knoxville and we will do a spaghetti thing so I am looking forward to him being here. One other thing that may or may not be significant. I have Sundancer7 written on the rear fenders of my truck. PP said he would not remove that??? Go figure. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

One of the guys we let hunt got an 8 pointer in my back yard the first day of bow season but I haven't seen any of the profits of it yet and I am dying for some good deer meat. PS - I want Sundancer's Hawaiian shirt. That is a beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!! No they do not sell that deer meat but any good meat mkt. will have/sell venison. As far as that crowd is concerned with all that cider fermenting on the tables and empty, they are caught(pictures) ,I do not believe they have seen anybody named curbside, don't believe that feller exists. You probally seen or thought you seen his indian brother 'Runs with Beer'

You can buy commercially raised venison but not the out of the woods on the fender of a pickup type!

CajunKing- Sorry I missed this the first time around. Much obliged on the tribute! The rainbow cake sure does look unusual, but I would be more than happy to try it. Of the pies, the fudge pie is the one that really got me drooling. Did anyone get the pimineto cheese sandwich at Henpeck Market? That was one of the highlights of my trip there last Spring.

Cliff, we actually discussed you and the pimento cheese sandwich, but we opted for more breakfast items, since we planned to pig out at shaffer farms I was VERY disappointed with the fudge pie, I was like you and drooling when I first saw it.
