Crystal Beer Parlor closing

The Crystal Beer Parlor in Savannah, GA, which was one of the first in that city to serve alcohol after Prohibition, will be closing it's doors this Friday, October 24, 2008, after 75 years, due to health issues and declining business.

I'm very sad to see the Crystal Beer Parlor close. What a great place it used to be. Savannah is losing another fine place.
