For all you ketchup haters... Old Dutch makes ketchup flavored potato chips! I couldn't pass them up. Tastes just like plain chips dipped in ketchup. Smells like it too!

Some stores here still sell the Herr's ketchup chips. Not all stores though, you have to look a bit. I have had them, didn't like them enough to keep going out of my way to buy them. Plain chips dipped in ketchup taste even better.

First had the Herr's ketchup Potato Chips at the Herr's factory tour....ok as a novelty, but I wouldn't buy them...and I think Herr's are the greatest brand out there!!! You can spray on almost any flsvor on a freshly made chp...some work some don't...on the tour a few years ago(we go back every once in awhile) we were among the very first to try their steak and potato chip...steak sauce on a chip...terrible......I( guess when it comes to flavorings the skies thelimit...mustard chips?????Herr's does make an "Old Bay Seasoning" chip...kind of interesting!

At picnics I will dip a chip in ketchup, but not have a ketchup-flavored chip. I sounds wrong. If this is true, I will go look for it. My son likes dill pickle chips. I did not try them for years, but after I tried them, they are good only if I am hungry and have a cold beer handy. I will let you know if I find the ketchup chips.

This flavor is quite popular in Quebec. Way too acidic for my taste buds but I have, on rare occasions, poured a bit of ketchup in a bag of plain chips, given it a good shake and gotten my arms red to the elbow.

My father is addicted to Heinz Ketchup, uses it on just about everything, except hot dogs! He came across Heinz Potato Chips, so he had to have them. He couldn't finish the bag, thought they were awful.

I've had those when up in Canada. Surprisingly, they are really good. The Humpty Dumpty brand is what I recall. Canada has always had good chips; salt and vinegar, dill pickle. I was heart broken when I moved here and they didn't sell them here. I see the salt and vinegar and dill pickle now but they just aren't the same as the Canadian brands. They even had a roasted chicken flavor that wasn't too bad.

My mother first discovered ketchup-flavored potato chips during a vacation in Canada. From that day on, she bought them whenever she could find them. I prefer barbecue chips, but then, I also prefer barbecue sauce on my French fries.

I always find flavored chips to have an odd chemical flavor component. Too often, you find MSG and other, IMO nasty, ingredients.

Have any of you seen or tried these? I tried these when I first saw them in a vending machine at work. They were terrible, the taste is indescribable.

A friend of mine loved the Snyders of Hanover ketchup chips. Don't know if they are still made. I would like to try them 'cause I'm curious.

Uncle Ray's Ripple Ketchup is very mild and not so ketchupy. It is pretty nice.
