Dallas/Ft Worth Root Beer

Since Prince of Hamburgers closed in Dallas, I'm having trouble finding good roadfood root beer. I've tried several places but they've all come up short. Any ideas for a good root beer?

Prince was the best. So sweet and creamy with just the right bite. RIP Closest similar place I know is Coits in Oklahoma City.

Thanks for the tip. We're thru OKC quite often...we'll stop by next time. Around the metroplex I've tried Twisted Root and found their RB has way too much cinnamon for my liking. BJ's Brewhouse and Big Buck Brewery were both very underwhelming as well. (both places not very roadfood worthy anyway)

Ahh, this is an easy one. The "Twisted Root Burger Co." on Commerce Street in "Deep Ellum". They make their own root beer and it's great. Different flavors too. Their burgers are my favorite and they are one of the "10 best burgers in Dallas" according to the Dallas Morning News. http://www.twistedrootburgerco.com/

ChowKilla, signman knows his root beer. I tried Prince a few years ago on his recommendation, and I also mourn their closing. I was in OKC a few months ago and went to Coits because of his recommendation. Excellent root beer. Twinwillow, thanks a bunch for the advice! That's on my list for next time I'm up there.

I guess I didn't realize they had different flavors of root beer. Gonna have to give it another try. Thanks for the suggestion. They are also building a new Twisted Root in Roanoke....basically across the street from Babe's Chicken Dinner.
