Grill on the Alley Comes to Miami

Well, Aventura, to be exact.

One of the stops that was skipped because of scheduling conflicts when I was in California last summer was at[url='http://www.thegrill.com/']The Grill on the Alley[/url] in Beverly Hills to sample the Cobb salad recommended by wanderingjew.

Much to my surprise, I read in Thursday's Miami Herald that a branch has opened in Aventura on Biscayne Boulevard. The experience certainly will not be the same as in Beverly Hills, and it won't be regionally appropriate , but I think I will "do lunch" (that's the right Beverly Hills expression, I think) there some time soon.

Ask if they have the special steak sandwich....it's an "off the menu" item..

I noticed there was a Grill on the Alley in Dallas, when I was there in April..in the Dallas Galleria shopping mall , the one with the ice skating rink..
I did'nt partake in that one, but I've been to the one in Beverly Hills a few times.
It was awhile back, but I'll always remember how welcomed I felt by the professional old school waiter...
I was dressed real casual , in a sea of business suits during lunch hour...but no matter..

As far as I know, I'm open on both days, although I'd better check with the gals in the office to see when they are planning the annual Christmas party.

Been to the one in BH a number of times, love everything the serve, great service to boot!
