Wisconsin Friday Fishfry Favorites

I'm surprised there isn't an active thread on Wisconsin Friday Fishfries at Roadfood, populated with more posts than Davydd has eaten Pork Tenderloins. My wife kept seeing Stolley's Hog Alley listed at our newspaper website's Reader's Picks forum (link below). First of all, Stolley's is a Biker's Bar, but its a nice Biker's Bar. Anyone driving between Milwaukee and Madison has probably seen this place situated between two lakes, and not known how to get there. We went with friends and found the fish to be outstanding and very reasonably priced. Walleye fillets big enough to knock you over, blue gills, or all-you-can-eat Cod. The side dishes served family style - homemade potato pancakes, German potato salad, slaw and bread. STOLLEY'S HOGG ALLEY 2008 N.
