After all the domestic super hoppers, I bought a 6 of an old favorite; Spaten Optimator, a German macro brew. Man; it seems so sweet! Actually, it is kind of sweet. But good. Strong, too. Winey, raisiny, almost chewy.
I also picked up a 6 of Old Rasputin Imperial Russian Stout. This is a winner; strong, dark, flavorful, burnt malt and hops, doubly beery.
